Job Summary:
The Sustainability Manager is responsible for contributing to the definition of sustainability strategy, setting sustainability indicators, continuously assessing the company’s sustainability conditions, and providing overall supervision of policymaking in the areas of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).
Job Description:
• Participate in the development of the sustainability strategy.
• Implement and oversee the organization-wide safety management system.
• Align corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities with the sustainability strategy.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluate the overall performance of different organizational units in relation to sustainability and HSE.
• Provide sustainability reports and recommendations.
Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in the oil and gas industry, including at least 5 years in a managerial position related to environment, HSE, or sustainability.
• Education: Master’s degree or higher in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Energy Management, or related fields.
• Language: Full proficiency in English.
Core Competencies:
• Proficient in environmental impact assessment of projects.
• In-depth knowledge of HSE management systems.
• Strong familiarity with international environmental standards and regulations (ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 45001).
• Knowledge of oil and gas processes (upstream, midstream, downstream) and their environmental impacts.
• Expertise in sustainability reporting (GRI, CDP, TCFD).
• Familiarity with renewable energies and clean energy transition technologies in the oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of management systems in multi-company (holding) structures and high-level policymaking in such systems.
