Planning & Delivery Coordinator - Engineer

Job Summary

WALCO MIDDLE EAST is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to support project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring in Qatar. The successful candidate will coordinate with internal teams and project stakeholders, track project milestones, identify schedule risks, and prepare progress reports for management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and progress reports.
• Monitor progress against approved schedules and identify delays, risks, and required actions.
• Coordinate with internal departments, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Track project milestones, resources, deliverables, and documentation.
• Prepare regular progress reports and management updates.
• Support project meetings and follow up on agreed actions.
• Recommend improvements to planning, reporting, and coordination processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of total work experience, including at least 3 years in a relevant planning role and in Oil n Gas Field.
• GCC experience is an advantage.
• Experience with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
