DevOps Engineer

About our new platform
We are building an AI-powered market intelligence platform that helps businesses make smarter, data-driven decisions in commodity markets.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help maintain and improve our infrastructure, automate deployment workflows, and ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our services. You will work closely with our Backend, Data Engineering, and AI teams to build and maintain a stable, scalable environment for our growing platform.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
2. Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker.
3. Administer Linux servers and automate routine operational tasks using Shell/Bash scripting.
4. Implement and maintain monitoring, dashboards, and alerting using Prometheus and Grafana.
5. Manage centralized logging and troubleshooting workflows using Loki and Elasticsearch.
6. Integrate SonarQube into CI/CD pipelines to support code quality and security checks.
7. Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot RabbitMQ message brokers and Celery background workers.
8. Support PostgreSQL and MongoDB operations, including monitoring, backups, and basic performance troubleshooting.
9. Investigate and resolve infrastructure, networking, deployment, and production incidents.
10. Collaborate with Backend, Data Engineering, and AI teams to improve system reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
11. Document infrastructure configurations, deployment procedures, and incident-resolution processes.

Requirements

1. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or a related role.
2. Strong knowledge of Linux administration and Shell/Bash scripting.
3. Practical experience with Docker and containerized application deployments.
4. Hands-on experience with GitLab and GitLab CI/CD.
5. Practical experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
6. Working experience with Elasticsearch and SonarQube.
7. Experience deploying and troubleshooting RabbitMQ and Celery-based background processing systems.
8. Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB administration, monitoring, and backup procedures.
9. Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and Nginx.
10. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, documentation, and collaboration skills.
11. Ability to independently manage day-to-day DevOps operations and take ownership of assigned tasks.

What We Expect
We are looking for a hands-on engineer who can independently manage day-to-day DevOps responsibilities, maintain reliable CI/CD pipelines, monitor infrastructure, and troubleshoot production incidents.
You should be comfortable supporting backend services, databases, and asynchronous processing systems while working collaboratively with technical teams to improve deployment reliability and operational performance.
