Join Bitpin as a Senior Product Designer and take real ownership inside our Product Design team. You'll own projects end to end from a fuzzy problem to a shipped, measured result across Bitpin's core product experiences.
At Bitpin, money moves through the screens we design. Almost every flow we ship is high-stakes, mostly irreversible, and read by people who are anxious while using it that's the design problem here, and it's why judgment matters as much as screens. You'll work one-to-one with a PM inside a product team, close to the decisions: what gets built, in what order, and what good looks like.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Design Ownership: Own the design of your projects from problem to launch not just the Figma file. You're accountable for the outcome.
- Problem Framing: You'll get an outcome and a constraint, not a spec. Framing the problem and defining how we'll know it worked are part of the job.
- Design Rationale: Make the call, say which options you rejected, and defend it in a room with PMs and engineers. If you can't defend it to someone who disagrees, it isn't a decision yet.
- Strategy Alignment: Work with your PM and engineers to understand business goals and shape product strategy challenging scope when it needs challenging.
- Craft: Strong UX, interaction and visual design. You produce the user flows, wireframes, prototypes and final UI yourself, at a high level in Figma.
- Data-Driven Design: Run usability tests yourself, read product data, and tell a signal from a coincidence.
High-Stakes Flows: Comfort with money, risk, error states and dense, data-heavy interfaces. - Through to Ship: Give sharp critique in Design Review, stay involved during development, and review the implemented experience design isn't done at handoff.
- Risks Early: Surface risks, open questions and usability problems while they're still cheap to fix, not at the end.
- Design System: Extend Bitpin's design system and propose new patterns, not just consume it and push adoption when a one-off would be easier.
- Autonomy: Own your priorities and keep projects moving without close supervision.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in product design for mobile and web platforms, with projects you took from problem to launch.
- Portfolio (Required): One case study, in depth, showing how you framed the problem, the options you rejected and why, what you traded away, what happened after launch, and your own contribution vs. the team's. Level: This role enters at L3 on our ladder.
